Combination of sorta falling through the cracks, I more or less forgot about it, they eventually found the neck in a back closet and the body in a plastic garbage bag under somebody's desk. It was just in for a routine gloss job. I've been informed that all is now back together and "she's freaking spectacular." Will be nice to re-aquaint with my old friend. Dave

You deserve as much (or more) credit for giving this guitar a new life... the sun is shining over here on this side of the rock... how is it over on your side?

"in the year 2525" is still rated as the biggest one-hit wonder song.

Thanks Again Noah. Glenn

Joined: October 2006 Posts: 5575 Location: big island | denny used to work on guitars that were already privately owned, like my martin. but now, according to his website, his attorneys told him there was too much liability, so now folks have to buy one of his guitars or do the work themselves or find some luthier to do the setup. he is buying a few martin models from martin, doing his setup and then reselling them. he is also bringing in some quality guitars from indonesia that he designed, doing his setup and then selling them under his name "Zager". any of these martins or zagers are all available rather inexpensively plus case & shipping. his reviews are stellar. i know i was able to play open chords on the octave frets past the 12th and the guitar would be in perfect tune. imagine that!
