It's a Peavey XR600C going into a single Peavey 15" PA Cab. With a touch of reverb it sounds fantastic. I can amplify every body for little expense. What amps are you using for your acoustic electrics ? Regards, Tom

I like it. sounds good to me and gets along with every amp/guitar I've tried it with. added the expression/volume pedal to it and will do pretty much anything I want it to.. the automatic notch/feedback filter is really effective and it will seek/cancel 5 different resonant frequencies at once. really cool, if you start to get feedback, hit the button, seeks and kills it, up to 5 different/simultaneous whines controlled. now that someone here told me I could change and upload the patches via midi.... rtfm... doh!! it's even better. I add a touch of reverb (the alesis has a choice of 40 'verbs) (or chorus, or delay, or flange, or phase or octive, the Alesis has it all, depending on the song, and let me add is very portable) at the mixer, using it like a reverb pedal on steroids. I get a nice warm tone. The MS101 will work in a room smaller than 25 x 25 feet no problem. PS Glad to hear the magic stomp download worked!

| Joined: February 2004 Posts: 2487 | I am actually gigging solo with just my Peavey Ecoustic 112. The Mic and guitar sound great and it is plenty of volume for any of the small venues I have played so far. I want to experiment with an instrument mic and the amp together on stage. So far not to much trouble with feedback but some places with hardwood floors force me to keep the volume down just a little more than I would like. Right through a PA is just as good, perhaps better but unless the PA is set up for effects like doubler, chorus, reverb etc. a little zoom foot pedal, or any acoustic effects unit you like, works well. Do not remember which one of you guy's mentioned "Pooh Corner" in one of your posts but I learned it last week and played it out......it was very well recieved. Thanks for mentioning this song I had forgotten all about it. Randy | ||
