But just wait till Alabama Bin Laden and his Bitch running mate get into office, then it will really go through the roof. Oh sorry, is that political? Sorry. It will keep going up anyway. I paid $2.75 for regular today. The Suburbans have really big tanks!

We should be building nuclear power plants, replacing old refineries, drilling in areas where we know there's plenty of oil, building more and more fuel efficient vehicles (even some that have 600hp) and instead, everybody in DC is sitting around with their thumbs up their butts. There's plenty of blame to go around......

Lots of people on Spring Break wanting to drive around and there's only so much product in the pipline. It's either higher prices or some form of rationing with the government in charge....what's your 'druthers? Still and all, is there a better way to get people to conserve and think twice about burning fossil fuel than to kick them hard in the wallet? It causes me as much pain as anyone as I have to drive all over BC and Alberta a couple times a year, live 1 1/2 hours from the nearest real city, and the towns around here are all about a 1/2 hour apart by car. But still I say, bring it on! Besides; I love the happy happy faces in Alberta every time the price at the pump goes up. Does my heart good! ..................................... Tired of feeling ripped off about it? Buy oil stocks! ;)

Joined: January 2006 Posts: 387 Location: Whitecourt, Ab | There is a theory out there, that if we all avoid the two top sellers of gas (Petro Can & Shell) in Canada it would force the price of gas down to a more manageable price. Organization and adherance of such a task would be paramount to success... interesting theory though
