What is it worth in US? i don't know much about electric guitars. I personally didn't like any before playing on that fender.

That guitar in good condition would be worth $2000 minimum in the U.S., probably more. Depends on color, if all the parts are original, etc. If it's intact, it's hard to think you would lose any money on it if you decided to sell it. Roger

I'd have to take loan to buy that guitar, but if it's that much worth, i think i'll risk it. his father bought that guitar from some german player in mid-80s and since then it was used sporadically in local cultural centre, until my friend started playing (about 7 years ago). But he plays mostly classical music and he wants to buy fagot.

Fender Stamped dates on the heel of the neck.(the neck has to be removed to see it) 2. also there will be a date for the body either in the neck cavity or the pickup cavity. 3. The volume and tone controls should have date codes on them. Here is a link that might help http://www.provide.net/~cfh/fender.html

He'll be back at the end of the month, so i'll take that fender and i'll post some photos. i'm still not convinced that i should pay 1/3 of my yearly salaries for a guitar but... i hope it's worth risk of living in paper-box.
