I'd like to introduce the forthcoming DYSON GALLERY. This will be a sight dedicated to a truly amazing instrument. The Dyson DCO7:

Is it really so unnatural for a 40+ year old man to feel a deep emotional attachment to a powerful suction device? It's worth $300... believe me.

For those of you without longhaired pets, you might not ever really understand...

Don't have a dog...
But I do have Long Hair.
And I'm going bald.
Maybe I need one of those Dyson things.

Jeff may have a big collection of vacuum cleaners, but I bet he really doesn't know how to use them. Read this info about the extra cleaning your Dyson might need: http://www.crazysquirrel.com/diy/dyson/cylinder-clean-page-1.jspx

Somehow I think Jeff in his own twisted way is poking fun at me. But I'll bite. KIRBY. I've got my Mom's 60 year old Kirby which has been totally rebuilt 3 times and this baby could suck the color off a brass monkey. Dave

Suck the chrome off of a bumper.

I wish I'd kept my old Electrolux and Mom's Kirby.

Here's the perfect amp for you suckers: http://www.liutaiomottola.com/electronics/ampuum.htm

My wife and I just purchased oneof those.
I have to say we are impressed with it.
It is also much quieter than our other vacuums, still the cats run fo cover when we fire up the purple monster.
the thing came with tons of attachments.

Highly recommended.

I'm with Dave.

The old Kirby's are KILLAH!!!

I remember back in '76 seeing Crosby/Nash and Crosby had a "Hoover" logo on the grille of his guitar amp . . . no doubt celebrating his nasal prowess . . .

Slim taper or wide neck? Seriously, I'm an absolute sucker for needless home show devices and contrivances. Among a wide assortment of useless gadgets, we have a $200 iron that won't pop a balloon, a $400 mixer that will make soup, ice cream and peanut butter in the same minute, a shop vice so dang complicated that I needed the advice of a mechanical engineer to set it up, and a device that simultaneously cleans both sides of a window, but doesn't work on double-panes, which is all that I have. Heaven help me if I ever go to guitar show.

Let it be known that I am not one of those Ovation Elitist Snob kinda guys.

I can't wait to see what the '07 Dyson Collectors model is gonna look like.
I have grown a thick skin over such comments as.. "Those Dyson's really suck!" I realize these kinda remarks are from people who just don't get it.
I know my Dyson is different than others of it's kind. That is what attracted me to it in the first place. The science behind it is nothing short of amazing.
This thing is such a cannon that when I fire it up, the house lights dim.
