Tak EF75J: An exceptional guitar that has now become my acoustic guitar of choice if the program requires a pure acoustic tone with no leads above high D. USA Strat TS/pups: Does everything an electric should, plus this one is set up perfectly. Preferred over options that cost four times more. All others are just for fun and show, possibly with an infrequent appearance for some odd reason or another. Of course, everything is subject to change due to my hopeless G.A.S. addiction.

Early in the day before I venture outside these "gigs" will begin on my 1860 but as the day wears on and the potential for damage to myself and my instrument increases I go for my trusty old Watson (see pics in my gallery) By the time the sun goes down I'm sounding really good and the old Watson loves nothing more than a solid bit of punishment.

The Sundays that I lead worship at another church, or for our womens' ministry fellowships, my Jewel (CE868LX-4.) If I go out and play bluegrass, my Gertrude (1111-4) and Plink, the Galiani mandolin. --Karen

On the occasion that I play guitar, I play my Adamas(CVT). The guitar player uses my Adamas II when he plays acoustic. Other than that he plays Jacksons. Bill

Joined: October 2006 Posts: 5576 Location: big island | i am using both of the guitars listed below for gigging. the W597 is excellent plugged in and the 1688 is awesome plugged and unplugged. i also use my rietfors tenor ukulele plugged in and occasionally will play bass on a gitano acoustic/electric that i paid $71.00 for brand new. it works very well! (now i need a 6 string warm acoustic cannon and an electric guitar, style being considered, and i will be set...i think)

Along about mid November that fell by the way side. The one that has gotten used the most is the 2080D followed by the 84. Third place goes to the Tak340Blewgrass and EF75. Next week is either going to be a Tricone cty or the Phillips style O. It's a slide tune in open D. The week's subject is legs. My tune deals with them as a form of transportation.
