This guitar (as he calls it a 9.8) would have to still be at the factory for him to consider it a 10. It's in better shape than most all I've seen new at GC, and its almost 25 years old! (can you tell I'm a little excited?) I have to say, Sam was VERY easy to deal with and very patient while I was seesawing back and forth on this purchase. Thanks again Sam, and to everyone else, if this guy has a guitar for sale... JUMP ON IT!! :D

I probably wouldn't have bought it if it wasn't for your input. The only bad part is I parted with the 1614 to do it. Speaking of golf, the last time I hit a couple of good balls was when I stepped on a rake. :D

Waiting for pics of the new (old) baby. How's it compare to the 1614? I was watching one on the 'bay, but it got away on me when I had visitors show up yesterday.

I got used to the narrower neck, and I was having problems going back and forth between the two. Not having it here now, I can't give you an A-B comparason on sound, but the 1537 feels a lot better to me. As for pics, you see one, youve seen them all....Actually, I can't get my server to display pictures for some reason. There are pics of it in "guitars for sale" thread in sell/trade from Sam. Trust me, the pictures don't do it justice at all.

I haven't been able to play both at the same time, but if I do, I'll be able to shut some people up who ask that stupid question, "Why do you need more than one? You can only play one at a time?" Morons. Sorry, Dear.

Sorry to hear you miss your 1614 so much, but at least it's in a good home. BTW Jim, I think that cleaning and polishing, and restringing a new(old) guitar is a bonding kind of thing...you didn't leave me much to do! ;)

Works with a right click in explorer, gives you options on size and gives you a resized copy so it doesn't mess with the original (unless you tell it to). Or you could just open it in Paint and use Attributes/Stretch-Skew. Or you could just post the link to it.
