It also seems like 2007 was a particularly exciting reunion because of all the new models. The surprise of the reunion, for me anyway, was the fully painted flame elite. Just imagine what next year will be like.

(could have had a preview this year, but nobody thought to bring lighter fluid.)

Not only did its sound cut through the others, but the manner in which the bowl was painted so well to integrate with the front was just beautiful. As I said earlier, it was the sleeper of the group in my opinion. I knew what to expect with the 2080 and a few notable others, but yours was a very pleasant surprise.

I wonder what happened to the blue one with the "rain drop" finish we saw on the tour a couple of years ago?

Darren wouldn't (couldn't?) talk about it. While we are talking about guitars we saw in the enginnering room... What about that texture-topped Adamas without any sound holes?? It was grey... no bass holes... not treble holes... and... no preamp. That hole was open. I played it and listened while others played it. Sounded good to me. Anyone else pick it up??? When I asked Darren about it he said it was put together as a joke.
