I'm glad to share with you THESE PICTURES of one of the first Adamas Custom Shop arrived in France.
This outstanding Adamas was ordered from one of the best O's dealer in USA... ;) and was custom made for my friend Tom under his own specifications.
I've had the pleasure to play it at the first "EurOFC" last weekend at Karl's house (pics will follow ASAP) and it's a wonderful looking and sounding guitar!!

What an unusual colour. Quite beautiful. I kinda miss the sparkles though.
Jerome, do you know if your friend supplied the factory with a colour sample? I didn't know you could go that custom.
The slotheads are really special guitars. I'm so glad I bit the bullet and got my #47RI. |

Location: SoCal | It's beautiful. And the tuners are all lined up too! Now all that needs to be done is to line up parrallel all the tuner buttons and it should sound great! |

Location: NJ | When we were on the Factory Tour, Darren had given Tom a graphite top with three different swatches of brown painted on it to choose from.
This was the shade that I liked, too.

I used photoshop to design my dream guitar and send the picture to the factory via Al. As it is very difficult to copy a picture, Daren prepared a few color samples for the factory tour. I could choose the shade that I like more and talk about it with Daren to adapt a few things.
I'm VERY happy with the result. I love the color, to me it looks even better in real than in pictures. It sounds just like an OFC, wonderful.

Location: Munich, Germany | I still wonder, if they counted the OFC's to the total amount of Slotheads. If you look at Jerome's page - the last number before vision's #81 is #58. Where are the missing ones? Okay, one of the "famous 69" is at Bro Bobby's, but the others?
69 (Bobby's way to think) + 12 = 81
By the way, another very beautiful brown Adamas just arrived at its new home in germany. Not a slothead, but in every way a wonderful guitar! Thanks again (to whom it may concern!)

Location: Phoenix AZ | I don't think the OFC guitars were counted. I had heard of the existence of numbers 74 and 75 but I don't know now where they are. 71 and 76 are registered on my website. I also recall hearing someplace that one of the delays in getting the OFC guitars done was that the factory had to finish the 47RI guitars first (or maybe this was in a dream).

Location: Blue Ridge Mountains | Vision's 47 RI #87 will be coming here soon and I am told that is the final 47 RI...but you are right Kurt, they're are a lot of "missing" ones as of recent accounting...maybe Brother Bobby has them in a back room...lol
I think that Musicians friend has at least one in stock (at least thats what i read...)...
As for whether or not they were all made in advance of the OFC's, I have no idea...I have heard conflicting reports... |

Location: Germany | I agree with all what has been said about Tom's brown slothead. To me it's the most beautiful Adamas color ever made. Well done boy!
Talking about numbers I always wonder if the 47RIs had also a standard Adamas serial # (like 22xxx). Such a number doesn't show up neither on the labels nor on the back of the headstock. So did they produce them outside of the standard ascending order?
That differs from the OFC guitars and Tom's brown one. They have the standard serial # on the back of the headstock.
