Posting from my iPhone. This should triple my post count. Get out while you still can. This is a revolutionary product. I'm very pleased with it.

I've been slackin' lately... needed to get that extra edge to get over the hump.

I know that it is expensive (not so much tho when compared to other high-end handhelds) and you have to put-up with the same ol' service contract bullshit but, nothing else does what it does, and nothing comes even close to how it does it. The interface is pretty amazing and it is a TOTALLY kickass iPod.. It is the new "StateOfTheArt."

I was convinced on the I phone except when I talked to playadamas about it. Yes it does it all but it is WAY too fragile for the punishment I give to a phone.

I asked if you could drop it and he said NO then it will be done. well that did it for me. I drop my phone once a day

Al, I've ordered a neck lanyard as I, too, am very prone to droppage.
It's no guarantee but, since having one with my nano, I've never dropped it.

...pretty dorky, but really, are you and I really concerned about that any more?

Jeff,
I bought a case by this company for my son's 80g ipod. I originally found it in a photo magazine article. A soldier had his ipod in one of these and came under attack. The ipod survived without a scratch.

When you and your iPhone go out together do you refer to yourselves as I and i? Have you fitted dreadlocks on your doors? Do you spell nirvana ETHiOPIA?

I wouldn't go back to AT&T's shitty service even if they offered a phone that gave a "HappyEnding" with each and every call . . .

Service must be a regional thing. AT$T has been the best I've found around here. I haven't done much traveling since I switched though.
