I do well at the "take-it-apart" phase, it's the finishing that takes so dang long! Most everything is cased or stacked so I'm motivated to finish something so that I can get back to enjoying and building. Here's some of the before pics: Here is the Room formerly known as my Guitar Room. It will be my wife's "Quiet Room". It only took me 10 minutes to figure out the timed shutter on the camera... Glenn and Andrew both have projects they've sent or will send me so I hope to have the Music Room (was two bedrooms) functional although floorless in a couple of weeks. Enjoy BTW - Keep thinking calendar...

She's got her own fireplace - pink granite surround - two recliners and all of here chotchkes. The fireplace is double-sided. The other side is my office/music room. My side of the fireplace has a cherry surround with black/dark green surround. Your music room sounds like it's going to be pretty cool! Can't wait to see the finished product.

My bandroom is an old pool room down in the basement that I used as a dance studio for 15 years before converting it to a guitar studio. My wife's "quiet space" is three floors higher on the third floor. If she could have her way, it would be at least another three floors higher than that, if we had the floors.

'brushed suede' where you roll on the first layer and then brush in (with X strokes) the second layer. Wasn't that tough. Should end up with Hide-a-beds in both rooms so y'all let me know when your in the area! Maybe a NW OFC Summer Jam next year...

So...this explains why nobody's heard from Woody for a while...very nice work, Mike. You're forgiven for not messaging me back. ;) That reminds me - holler at me before you do anything major surgically on the PD...I might have other ideas by then.

My Boss (at work) is on this kick where he likes to assign me lots to do... like, whatever!!! I got your Text message Andrew, it just wears me out to try and type a response. I like to double check with Clients (sounds professional) prior to ripping anything apart. I like the photo of the couch and the Ovation - it says "Therapy" all over it.
