Though I never personally connected with him, I remember seeing Slipkid's posts and recall how he was often the focal point of many conversations and gatherings, and how much he was appreciated by the membership. So to those who knew him well and relished the friendships you had together, I extend my condolences for your loss.

As did the rest of the Fishsticks and those lucky enough to be in attendance that year. I was and have that shot on my wall to memorialize it. Thank you!

That got us talking about cars and road trips and promises never kept. He wanted to recreate a trip he made out to Sun Valley and I promised to meet him there and meet him if I ever got to Michigan. I made it to Michigan once, but we weren't able to get together then. He never made it out to Idaho. I hope he was able to fulfill all his other dreams. We say "some other time" too much.

I got back and was told that I needed to get to the restroom, where I found the other guys getting changed. I was handed a grass skirt and lai and we headed out. Really fun times......
