Slipkid encouraged me to take over the calendar project when he and DesignZilla had to step back. Every time I'm working on the newest one, I always remember how helpful his advice was when I started. Rest in peace Brad. May choirs of angels bring you winging home!

Lord knows I've lost count It's a pain I just can't take Do I hold back the tears grit my teeth as my heart breaks or do I steel my emotions and let the tears turn to a lake? I probably can't do either one I wasn't made that way So I'll just let it all flow and hope it will wash away How many more will it take? Why do all these friends just and pass away? I used to have a lot, but not so much these days so it’s turned into a Whiskey day Mourn my friend who passed away how much longer will it take till the hurt is gone? I guess that’s what scares me most when I see that holy ghost He smiles and plays the host like a party on the lawn How many more will it take? Why do all these friends just and pass away? I used to have a lot, but not so much these days Raise a glass and go to sleep Pray the Lord my soul to keep May if be a long long time Till we finally meet Until we finally meet

Joined: November 2011 Posts: 741 Location: Fort Worth, TX | I just read the manifesto. I WISH I had read it the day I joined here before ever posting anything. I jumped in head first, bringing the spirit of another forum I've been a member of for 10 years. The atmosphere at that forum is a wide open free for all. Brad's manifesto hopefully would've shown me I was at a different place requiring more than just a modicum of behavior modification. For that I apologize. It's always a sad day when someone passes way too young who had so much more to offer. I'm on another forum that had two suicides in the brief time I've been there. In case anybody is wondering what kind of sites I frequent, it's a men's health forum. For everyone who has just lost a personal friend in Slipkid, sincerest condolences for your loss. I watched a few youtube videos of him performing a long time ago and was impressed with him then. Obviously he was a big presence here whose absence will long be felt. RIP.

I gave up, figuring that he quit skiing for reasons that were much less serious. This may be another one of those weekends for reliving memories, which, as Bill's song says, happens too often these days.

Funny thing was I was just wondering last week if he was coming this year. I am at least glad to say I met you Brad. We had some good laughs last year and you were fun to hang with. I am so sorry to hear of this. My condolences to his family.
