Location: Budd Lake, NJ | Today marks the sixth anniversary of the beginning of my journey into widowhood. (This isn't a plea for sympathy, rather just a statement of fact.)
For those of you who have a "She-Who-Must-Be-Obeyed" or a "He-Who-Must-Be-Pampered," please take time today to tell your loved one how much you love and appreciate him/her. It's so easy to take someone for granted......
For those of you who are single like me, I will gladly send a hug to anyone who may have need of one--and if anyone has an extra one to spare, please send it my way; there will probably be a point in the day where I'll need it.

Just a few minutes ago I was sitting here at the computer after taking care of my 9mo son and asking myself why I wasn't asleep: then I saw your thread...and I was reminded of two things: first how close I came 10 days ago to losing my wife, best friend, and mother of my children...and then I am reminded of the one who holds us in the palm of His hands...and I am comforted...and thats a hug that just keeps on giving without fail. So, just before I go to bed, I'll add my hug to His; and all the rest from earlier today!
