You will also notice the new applause on the website as well which will no longer look exactly like an Ovation. No eppys for Applause and the new headstock also assures Ovation wont be changing the headstock anytime soon ;0. X

I really like the design. Still some info to update, but they managed to get everything out front in an easy navigation scheme so good job on that. Also VERY easy to tell the difference between the lines/series. Overall nice improvements.

It is certainly great to see an up-to-date lineup including a few of the Anniversary models. Though a bit disappointing that no 12 string is included (yet).

You guys have a signature model of hers so she obviously should be in there! 2) Some of the pages don't seem to show photos of the entire guitar. The close-ups are fine and very beautiful, but imho when one clicks on the "View More" button on the main page there should be some full body photos not just close ups. It took 4 clicks to see the full view of a Ruby Red Applause. 3) The US Dealer search doesn't recognize a simple zip code as being that. It wants to see the 5 digits as a street number. If all someone enters is 5 digits it should be assumed to be a zip. One of our local shops wants to be a dealer but they tell me they are being told they have to carry a substantial number of guitars. They don't have the capital or the wall space to do so. Will small mom/pop shops be able to become official dealers?

I did have a problem with the Dealer Locator though....popped in my Zip, then home town, no dealers....it just showed me where I was. lol. But a very attractive and easily navigable site, and some beautiful guitars!

What jumped out at me is under the Adamas heading they are described as having a uni-directional carbon-graphite suspended soundboard and goes on to describe the AST {adamas suspended top} but the new adamas has woven twill carbon fiber tops and no AST,are you going to be reintroducing the Adamas I with AST top, please say yes I love the look of the 40th anniversary adamas but would buy a Adamas I 1688 12 string. also in the moving graphics for adamas 40th anniversary non cutaway it says shallow but the specs say mid-bowl. I like the website overall. Very easy to navigate. Although I have no current plans to purchase any standard models, there are some color schemes and features that I would be interested in combining in a custom model, if and when custom one-off orders ever become an option in the future.

Weird, it must not have loaded fully or correctly for me. When I clicked on the button along the top of the page for "Artists" there is a series of photos of Ovation artists. Kaki's photo was not amongst them. But today it is definitely there. Yesterday I scrolled through the slide show numerous times to be sure she was missing before I posted it here.

Sure still a work in progress. Descriptions for 50th Anniversary Legend and Artist are also not up yet. And as mentioned before, resources like the model archive and history are essential for background and hopefully updates to those will appear soon.

My dream used to be a Build It Now which they sort of had on the old site long ago for custom orders. Build It, then Buy It! Dealers could be pulled into the loop by shipping the guitar to the nearest dealer for delivery. In this age of instant online purchase there should be some way to make it happen here.

The Applause series head stock and 4-hole Elite style sound holes are a nice change...kinda makes me wanna get one...Uh Oh, I can feel the GAS coming...really lucky that I can't see the shopping cart from over here in Japan! Interestingly there is no listing for a dealer in Japan...should we be expecting major changes over here?

I'd like to be able to enlarge a full body view, zoom in, and pan around the whole guitar.

I noticed that too, and even went searching for something to drop in it. My t-shirts and caps and such are getting a little worn. How 'bout it Bill X.? Any swag on the horizon for those of us that can't afford any more guitars?
