To add to the inscrutable grinning smiley I posted earlier, Al has confirmed to me that my order has been fulfilled and will be making it's way on Monday to TN to join me.

An 1198AV40 "Bearclaw", with inline pickup, will be mine shortly.

I jumped on this the moment I knew Al was taking orders and believe my commitment may be rewarded with a single digit issue number of 50.  I'll wait until it arrives to post pictures as I cannot believe my good fortune as it's just a little surreal right now :-)

Very happy and for those who did not receive in this batch, stay the faith.

Stuart

Congratulations, Nancy & Stuart .

Ho-hum. I guess I'll have to console myself with my torrefied Legend while I patiently wait for my number to come up.

I am not one of the secret 2 undeclared. It will be fun to learn who here has chosen which of the different anniversary models.

It would be great to have a table or listing of the Anniversary Guitar Models, and then who got which number in the appropriate column. We can't do it here though, we can't update. Unless Miles could do one??? And see how many of the Anniversary's ended up with OFC people!

So Al very kindly sent me a couple of pictures similar to Nancy's.

You can see in the first image that mine has the OCP pickup for the inline electronics.

In the second image (my breathlesness increases) confirmation that I am the lucky recipient of #03/50 of the 1198AV40 series.

Yay!!!!!

It's already set up on www.ovationgallery.com

Go to Serial Number Registration, click Adamas, and scroll down for the 40TH Anniversary.

Nancy...I like the song too....As I am working out of town for a few days, then playing (music) in Asheville (way out of town) over the weekend, it'll be sometime after the 4th before I declare through pics. Let's just say I've played Ovations since the mid 70s, and I own an original slothead (#43)...so there is not much more for me in the Adamas line.

Dave....thanks for setting up a registration tracker.

Those pics must be fake. Grass can't be green already in New Jersey.
