This could be a good excuse for a road trip with a wagon packed with KMC's fine products.

TAFKAR, want a lift?

Road trip sounds great Paul! I'm in. My Smart Fortwo doesn't fit many guitars. I should be able to wrangle free accommodation in Coffs Harbour.

We could take my Subaru wagon, it'll take more than a few guitars.

Coffs sounds like a good place to break the trip.

When you get your frequent flyer miles sorted out, swing by Minnesota and bring Nancy with you.

That is So Sweet Banjo! I am afraid that I would be *detained* leaving Australia. They would find little joeys, and cockatoos, tiels, King Parrots, platapus's, and all sorts of delightful critters in my suitcase and pockets, maybe a couple of brightly colored parrots disguised as Hair Decorations standing on top of my head! LOL!!! I would Love to visit Australia someday, I would love to hear the Aboringinals play a dingeridoo, and see their cave paintings too, so much to see and do down there! And I would love to hear you play one of your outdoor concerts!

They showed on the News last night where someone in Texas, had their EMUS get loose and were running down the streets. I was wondering if they were Beal's, and he was getting used to local wildlife before he went down on his trip! LOL!!! They were eventually herded into a yard and caught. LOL!!

I just have to deal with cattle and a long horn. He has to go, anyone want a long horn? This trip was 380,000 miles and even then I had to buy the US to Austrailia part. Once in a lifetime.

There are llamas and alpacas right down the street. They are getting ready for Cliff.

Spray paint him Blue, he would fit right in up here in MN with Paul Bunyan!
If you are in Texas, you *have to have* a long-horn!!! Kind of a prerequisite isn't it???

"It has more things that will kill you than anywhere else.

Of the world's ten most poisonous snakes, all are Australian. Five of its creatures - the funnel web spider, box jellyfish, blue-ringed octopus, paralysis tick, and stonefish - are the most lethal of their type in the world.

This is a country where even the fluffiest of caterpillars can lay you out with a toxic nip, where seashells will not just sting you but actually sometimes go for you.

... If you are not stung or pronged to death in some unexpected manner, you may be fatally chomped by sharks or crocodiles, or carried helplessly out to sea by irresistible currents, or left to stagger to an unhappy death in the baking outback. It's a tough place.”
Bill Bryson, In A Sunburned Country

Sometimes the hardest and harshest things in life are the most Beautiful, and make you feel the most Alive.

And Australia has some of the nicest people you would ever want to meet, the most stunning scenery, and the most colorful critters, it is a good balance!
