Wood, Metal, Sheetrock, nothing scares me any more!!!!! I just wanted to Thank You all again for all help, suggestions, and patience! I have all of the Guitars (that are currently here) hung!!! I still need to get new light fixtures, and some nicer furniture, but not until I know for sure what I want. I have a new TV, Comcast, and a separate laptop for the Cave for watching music video's, and I found the small Fridge I want. i am repainting the bedroom down there, then I am done! I wanted to share my Babies out of their cases, and up where I can see and play them everyday! The new ones coming in will necessitate moving some around, but that is Fun too! Anyway, Thanks you guys, you are THE BEST!!!! ![]() (Nan Cave 14.jpg) (Nan Cave 15.jpg) (Nan Cave 16.jpg) (Nan Cave 17.jpg) (Nan Cave 18.jpg) (Nan Cave 19.jpg) (The Nan Cave.jpg) Attachments ---------------- ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

It's great space for a cave and it is easy to regulate the temperature and humidity. Now that you've mastered the drill, you better start budgeting for more woodworking tools. That can be more expensive than guitars.

I had been waiting 2 weeks to put up the 5 guitar String Swing Holder - my brother promised to come help. Got sick of waiting, so I read the instructions, and once I got one hole through the metal, took off and finished it in less than an hour!!! If you are ever coming up to the Frozen Tundra, and want to come kick back in the Cave, let me know your Favorite Beverage and Pizza Flavor, and I will have them on hand! Hot Cocoa and Peppermint Schnapps are ALWAYS on hand during colder months! LOL!!! ![]()

That can be more expensive than guitars. I KNOW!!!! MORE POWER!!!!! Muhahahaha!! ![]() Now I know why guys never let their wives use their power-tools. Because if we ever got our hands on those, YOU guys would be running the vacuum and mixers, and WE would be using the chain saws and saws-alls!! LOL!!! I am getting quite the collection of good power tools. My Dad always said, "Get Good Tools and treat them right, and they will be there for you when you need them." I would like eventually to get some nice woodworking tools, I would like to make my own handmade Rocking Horses. The Victorian Styled ones with the real manes and tails.

But wait what's that in 15.jpg - a NON-Ovation or two? LOL!!!! You weren't supposed to notice them! LOL!!! I have an Emerald X-20, and a Takamine G330S. But because the Cave sign says "Ovations Only", I have another sign on order that says "Non-O's" to hang above that Section. ![]() Thank you for the suggestion of the 5 Hanger, Standing, it really is nice, and you can fit more in a smaller amount of space! ![]() Edited by Nancy 2015-10-16 2:50 PM

Not really Brad, I was taking lessons as a teen in St Paul at a Schmitt Music, and saw my first Ovation. I LOVED how unique it was, I grabbed it off the wall, and took it into the practice room and bought it immediately. It became my best friend, and It was always with me. When we went to buy our first home, I had to sell my Ovation to help finance the house. I swore someday, I would get it back, or get another one. Got divorced 25 years later, and started living again, started doing everything I have always wanted to do, and guess what came up on the list??? Then I found you guys.............. The more I learn, the more I want to try what you guys are talking about. Plus, I inherited my Mother's bad habit of Collecting! LOL!!!! It becomes an obsession. But at least I have good taste in my bad habits! LOL!!! ![]()

They are little bamboo sticks that the liquid scent comes up through, and releases a very gentle, light floral scent. My sister gave it to me! LOL!!! I remember burning incense, you could never get that smell out of your nose! LOL!!! ![]() Edited by Nancy 2015-10-16 4:24 PM
