While meant to be funny it is too close to the truth. I just got the new Vintage Guitar mag and it's less than half, maybe even less than a quarter, of the featured people I've heard of. Either I need to get out more or the world needs to spend more time coming to Amelia. |

Or when a band plays the oldies and they're all from the era when you were singing nursery rhymes and Sesame Street tunes to your kids.
Or when you're telling a story to someone who can't figure out why you didn't just call someone on your cell phone or look it up on your computer.
There are too many examples for me. |

Yesterday in a staff meeting, a lady sitting next to me passed a note to me that my zipper was down. I felt very little embarassment, and was actually more impressed that she noticed. |

In the last 10+ years I have had to rely on young people to find new music worth listening to because I don't have the patience (or the social connections) to find the new artists....or the memory to recall all their names. (Took me forever to remember to listen to Jack Johnson.) |
