Two summers ago I tried to put together a Great Lakes OFC gathering without success. So... let this be a seed planted for next summer. Let's not let those southerners, easterners, & westerners have all the fun. Think about it. BTW.. All you Ohio Buckeyes are also included. But you'll need three references.

Down in southern FL you can get 'em all year. We had one night a few days ago where it dropped down to 29 for a couple of hours (we're at about the same latitude as New Orleans), but the day after it was back up into the 70's.

I'd make the trip down from Traverse City to see the other Ovations in our fine state. =============================== Viper III Breadwinner Limited Preacher (and looking for starter Ovation acoustic...)

We had stonebobbo and his son come up from California and fillhixx come down from Canada. Those are some diehard fans. Before that, I was able to gather 2/3 of the Idaho members, when tdeej stopped in Boise and let me try out his 1547.

(gh1 may have a different POV, but he did get a lot of leftover beer out of the experience....)
