I have to admit that if I'm just reaching for something to play, I tend to grab my 87 more than the 1581. It's just got such a great warm tone. It will be interesting to see what it sells for.

Joined: November 2006 Posts: 3969 | It's done all the time. A seller can choose to end an auction at any time for any reason. In all my auctions I specifically state "Item is also for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction at any time if sold locally." Some sellers do, however, use that right to end an auction early if they feel they're not getting what they expected. That, to me, is unethical. A seller should do his research first and set a reserve or opening bid price that meets current market value and/or his expectations.
