We've covered these mulitple places. This is an attempt to organize it to one list. You have 4 three hous sessions plus a recap Sunday morning of a lenght to be determined then.
What do you want to cover.

Part of why I ask is that I have someome who could give separate instruction for 1,1-5 hour on slide or open tunings or, or,

I'd like to get the desires of the class and then he and Matt can decide who does slide, who does lap steel, who covers open tunings and the like

It is also rumored that Debanjo Reinhardt will be there so any drop outs will have to take a tutorial of the proper cleansing of a banjo resonator and proper lubrication of the banjorour.

Seriously these smnaller classes have just come about and offer a chance to get into some areas mnore deeply.
So Help us out guys, it's for your benefit.
Thanks,

Anything Blues for me. I know that's a pretty broad topic, but I've got a lot to learn in all aspects, so I'll leave it at that.

For the most part, I am a cowboy chord guy. I can get a little fancy now & then but basicly.... I like to strum & sing.

I'm hoping to leave the island with a few new ideas that will help me embelish what I am now doing. I'm not exactly sure what that is but I hope to sound a little more "complicated" a few months after the clinic.
And I won't mind some inspiration around the old pentitonic scale.
Lastly... I'm interested in "turning a song on it's ear". Like the way you worked over "Love the One Your With". Now maybe that's something that can't be taught but I'm trying to get my head around the concept.

I'm open for anything, I just need useful adult instruction! Seriously, I've taken two professional classes and got zip from them, I just didn't click with kids half my age trying to teach me :(

Just some insight into the workings around the fretboard and different strumming techniques would be worth the price of admission for me ;)

I could bring nunwell slides, (the ones on my site if anyone wants one... k... we can definately cover blues and slide... IIRC also Travis and delta style picking...If we cover one subject extensively each 3 hour period, we have room to dig in on one more subject!

Well, this is the first time I've agreed with Dave (at least in writeing).

Those topics will cover me as well.

Although I'm usually a quick study, guitar is one area that this does not apply. Start basic and slow, repeat.

OK, Here's some little ones that could be used for fillers or meaningful discussions over drinks.
1. How to play a song in front of people(how to be most effective)
2. How to put together a set list
3. How to get the most out of practice time
4. How to break out of ruts
5. Helpful tips for singing.(besides don't)

3 & 4 Matt touched on at one of the CT do's, but I'm willing to Touch It Again (ShutUpWitko!).

Those're ALL Good'ns, Beal . . . we WILL have t'remember these.

I might be able t'help out some with the singing-stuff.

Never "taught" it before (it was more "coercion" than "instruction" . . ask my ex-partner, Rick).
But ONE of MyGoals is gonna' be gettin' some Barrel-Chested Bellows out of MasterBradley . . .

Great ideas all.
Travis/Atkins/Dadi styles are my requests as well as anything blues.
Beal, from one who spent many years on the road, I'd be glad to offer some tips on anything connected, as well as singing/voice care/set construction...if needed; I'm happy to share, as I'm sure others are as well.
Equally happy to just listen, absorb, and apply!
I'm really looking forward to the entire time...
And thanks Beal for putting this together!

I've always sung more like Perry Como than Robert Plant but if you're willin', I'll be Eliza Dolittle to your 'enry Higgins.
or Sherman to your Mr. Peabody
or Robin to your Batman
a gorilla to your Jane Goodall
or Kwi Chang Kane to your Master Po

I plan on soakin' up as learning as I can take in from where ever I find it.

I've never had an official guitar lesson in my life, so I neither know what to expect nor what to even ask for. Guess that means I'm up for anything.
