I am a huge Beatles fan but I cannot for the life of me make out the significance of ( the song ? ) Revolution # 9 . Does anyone understand what it says or what in the hell they are trying to say in it?
Is this musical talent in wrighting this that I cannot find any sense to or is it only me.I cannot sit through listening to the entire peice for it drives me crazy.Maybe thats what they were trying to accomplish.GWB

Nothing personal, but why do folk not check out the search engines on the web?

Also, why don't people provide model numbers, condition and relative info?

I've added to my collection thanks due to the sellers lack of knowledge and abilities to be coherent!

OK, no more 'hints' ...

It must be played backwards to REALLY understand what they're trying to say!

If you're trying to understand the lyrics to Revolution #9, then you've completely misunderstood the whole of the '60's. (Try and analyse "I Am The Walrus"!)

And if you actually remember the 60's, then you can't really have been there.

Anybody see the new release "Across the Universe"? It may be categorized as a rock opera featuring a score of Beatles music. Personally, I liked most of the music and the creative weaving of the score into the story line as well as the period sets. Not much book, and it will likely appeal primarily to young adults. The British character has the best voice.

Revolution #9 is evidence that Yoko Ono destroyed John Lennon. Otherwise, it's avante garde garbage IMHO.

The Brittish star of Across the Universe looks uncannily like Paul McCartney. Wonder what he thought of the movie.

#9.

I always thought it was mindless filler to make the White album a double album. Proof that the Beatles fan base would listen to anything that they wrote.

To fully understand the relevance and importance of Rev#9 you must be under the influence of the very same intoxicants that John was at the time is was created.

This is why only Charlie Manson has ever understood this piece.......

There was worse crap made, but never by such a premium impressure. Kinda like Ovation putting out a banjo.....
