We've seen this product, talked about it etc.. The manufacturer of this widget sent me a note and is offering a discount to OFC members who are interested.
Ovation Guitar Standing Stabilizer
I'm not sure what the discount is, but I thought it was a nice gesture and told him I would make this announcement. He didn't want to just come on and have his first post be hawking his product, but I'm guessing as a player he'll start posting soon. How can he resist??? |

Location: SoCal | Actually, I think the idea is rather brilliant. I just don't feel a need for one. I've played Ovations for over 35 years and they feel just fine to me standing or sitting.... |

I want one for my Grandbabies. Those round backs gives 'em trouble. I'll probably put the S.O. on my CC57. |

Location: Jet City | I ordered it Friday, it showed up today. Install is a breeze, took 2 minutes. It works very well. I like it. We'll see if I still like it in a month.
This changes everything. I'm no longer thinking of selling my LX to buy a contour.
