Joined: March 2002 Posts: 14842 Location: NJ | Does anyone know where I can find an .mp3 of the "Olympic Theme" that ABC uses?? Jeanette works for the local Regional YMCA and they have some type of Benefit coming up and needs the song for an awards presentation . . . Any ideas?? | ||

I attended all the track and field events in Los Angeles at the 1984 Olympics and the song I remember primarily hearing over the public address system in the Colliseum was the opening theme to the movie Chariots of Fire. | ||

Fantastic CD of concert band marches and stuff like that. Includes the Olympic Theme mentioned above, plus the John Williams theme of the '84 Olympics and a whole bunch of other concert band march stuff. Highly recommended. Dave | ||

The International Olympic Committee is even more propriatorial than 'The Mouse' when it comes to their intellectual property. I heard they're even thinking of suing Olympia Washington before 2010. | ||
