Location: Carle Place, NY | I starting to become a real fan of Planet Waves. The first product I bought was a 25' guitar cable that has a button on one end that shorts the cable so you can unplug without having to turn down the amp. Then I bought a set of the Auto-Trim locking tuners for an electric guitar. The auto trim feature works very well and the locking mechanism is as good as Sperzel's. I just got the Dual Action capo and I'm very impressed. It combines the best of the Keyser and Shubb designs.
The best part is that the prices seem to be very fair condisdering the quality and innovations in theire products. |

I have the Planet Waves NS capo. Light weight,inexpensive and a similar profile to the G7. Their accessories are handy to keep in the gig bag. |

Location: Boise, Idaho | They did a guitar care kit a couple years ago that I bought several of and gave some away. Nice stuff, but they didn't do the kits after that. They sell a bunch of different guitar accessories. |

I've put the Auto-trims on all my electrics. (I like schallers on the acoustics), also, all my guitar straps are planet waves. Agreed, if you look around, you get good value for money from them. |

I use a Shubb and put it OVER the neck instead of under it, like I've seen most other people do. I put it on 'upside down' because otherwise, I find it interferes with my fingers on certain chords.
I'm looking at the design of the NS and it just looks to me like it's gonna just get in the way.
Could someone please post a picture or two of one on the neck? |

Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains | Went to a guitar store closing auction a few months ago and watched a glass front display case of maybe 200 Planet Waves cables of all sorts and sizes go for something like $700 for the entire lot. Less a couple hundred for the case, these cables sold for less than $3 each. I went for the stands instead. |

Location: Boise, Idaho | Figures. I was just watching one of my Pete Huttlinger dvds last night and he was going on about what a great design the G7 was, not like one of those things that looks like a big old C clamp on the top. So they change it. |

I'd also like to know how it works for a 12 string. So far I use a Shubb for a 12. Seems to work the best. This does look interesting. |

Location: cincinnati, ohio | They make these neat "quick disconnect" clips. One goes on the end of your strap through the hole, and the other end wraps around the headstock just above the nut. So your strap connects to the headstock, which relieves stress and strain in the neck and shoulders (and also makes those round back guitars easier to play if you have a less-than-svelte shape! :D ) |

I tried it on my 12 string Balladeer and it works very well all the way to the 7th fret. The Keyser that I have works well also but the Planet Waves capo does it with less tension from the spring. The Dual Action makes it a lot easier to place. |

I really like the three part cleaning system. Takes time but black Os look like a million bucks (or £3.78 at current exchange rates.. ho ho ho) |

Location: Hot Springs, S.D. | I use distilled water on my humidifiers. No mold. As a matter of fact, here in South Dakota, the water is so hard you have to use distilled for just about everything except drinking, and I'm not sure all these minerals are good for drinking either! |

Location: Vernon CT | I have had the P.W strob tuner for about a year now and I love it!! When you are at a Jam and everyone is playing or trying to tune you don't have to worry about your tuner picking up other "sounds". It's one of the best products.

These days, I use dampit ... I'll just have to squeeze it real good, and watch for its tendency to spill water onto the guitar's interior. |
