I don't really need to know reasons (though they might be interesting), but I have been mulling over shaking up my modest collection recently and wondering to myself what I would go in search of if I did. So just for grins, in addition to what I own now, I would someday like to have: A 1537 Elite A Book Elite A Book Mandolin A Book Mandocello I like Books Any mandocello (I'm working on this though) 1984 Collectors 1987 Collectors (both colors) 1997 Collectors Wide Neck 1999 Collectors 2001 Collectors with center soundhole 2002 Collectors 2005 Collectors 2006 Collectors Bit of a trend, I know Lost Art Vintage Koa 12-fret Angel Step Elite 6 and 12-string Adamas u681t 6 and 12-string 30th Anniversary Custom Legend Adamas 1680 Adamas w597 Cobalt Blue Nakao Craftsman Elite I think I'll stop there since my wife will be home any minute. She's not feeling well today, and if she sees this list it might just push her past her limits.

I have the only one registered on Dave's site and figured it wasn't too popular. I bought it for the looks and because it's red. As far as red goes, I'd really like a #47RI.

I might buy another nylon, but I'm keeping this one. Good list. I'd add or have added a few. You need a Folklore, Josh White or FD-14 in there and a nylon string. Why the 99 Collector? Forgive my ignorance, but what is "Dave's Sight?"

I have a minty factory rebuilt shiny 12, a factory rebuilt 1537, a custom classical elite, and a Q597, and for the time being a mob, and a Nakao, both currently for sale.. an FD14 and an 08 collectors would round the collection out nicely tho.. but the 08 alone costs more than my whole collection did.. maybe someday, but for now I'll enjoy the ones that I have, they are all very nice examples and I should appreciate the ones that I have more, and worry about the ones that I don't have or have sold less..
