No! I Know that you didn't just slap a sticker on the case and ship it!

It is covered with dust, and had a red hard-candy stain on the top, which made my heart skip... I was looking at the Fed Ex Track, and it said 14.7 pounds... Now I have never shipped a guitar that light. So either no case, or no box. It was the later! But it is one of the Good cases, with the metal stick-on letters, so that is cool. I am still letting it warm-up, but I took it outta the case. It is still a bit cool inside, since there are only eleven little holes. (It oughta be ready by the time I compose this...) So... Time to Brag! I really need to clean that corner before I take pictures, huh? :p

Did you hear that Al & Miles?.... 20 years from now. And Al... to put that in perspective, that's after 20 more OFC Factory Tours. Wait sec. Hold on. Oh no... that's 20 more calendars!!! Very nice OMA... Let's see a picture of you playing it.

I received an Epi Sheraton II shipped that way, except it must of had a full roll of wide plastic packaging tape around the case seam. Enjoy the 'heat'!

This came with an orange handwritten hangy-tag that sez "Elite 1778T $1789"... Also, my 1778T-5 has a thin saddle, but this one has the wider one, like my 1718... I thought that that was the "older" style, but this guitar is newer than my black one. (14,631 guitars newer) ["Just wash the dirty socks!"-- Those are the clean sox for today, I'll have you know]

Putting the guitar case in box would not provide anymore protection, except maybe keep the case from getting scuffed. I do however put some packing material under, and above the headstock to keep it from flexing during shipping.

My girl plays hers all the time, and has since inspired at least 3 others at school to buy Ovations. Hers, though is the previous iteration of the Red Flame. It has the Op30 preamp and the candy apple red color. Old Man Arthur's is the newer version with OpPro and the orangy red paint job. Didn't someone here get one for his daughter?"> ![]()

Or that you gotta run across the stage that direction. But, Jim, they kinda grew on me over time. Way back when I first started in my O-diction I let a GCXT get away for $500 BIN (Free shipping too)! Decided that I oughta grab this one. Since they are going for $800 plus now! One of these days I will get one of dem Puke-Blue Adami... Didn't like them when I first saw them either.
