Joined: October 2006 Posts: 5575 Location: big island | a few weeks ago the wife and i purchased a "little martin" for my 23 year old stepson who has taken an interest in guitar. this is what he came home with today: ![]() 1989 ovation 1758-6 he did some manual labor for the guy who owned this wonderful guitar and this is how he was paid. it plays superbly and has no issues. the pearlized top's patina is very nice and makes it look like gold. | ||

It took me 30 years… ;) He has good taste, that's a beauty. Have you explained to him that you need to play it for a few weeks to be sure that it is properly "broken in" for him? ;) | ||

Where are they going to go?". He then related how they solved a ram raid at the alcohol store. Yellow paint was found on the edge of the shop. They went to a young local and asked to see his yellow car. He said "How do you know it's mine?". They said "They only other yellow car on the Island belongs to a church minister". | ||
