Vice President Designzilla stated that he needs new pictures to choose from. I know, I know.... "I've sent a ton of pictures before and none of them have ended up in the calendar". There are a couple reasons why some pics cannot be used. Most often they do not have the resolution need for calendar size. Steve... maybe you could chime in and describe what you are looking for.

Pictures should be taken at the absolute highest resolution that your camera supports Guitars are tall and skinny when you shoot them straight on, remember that your photo needs to fit into a nearly square page area. I know this one is a pain in the a$$, but give your photos descriptive names and then include a text file with your photos that says who you are, what model of guitar it is and if there is anything cool or special about it. I would really like to get some captions on everything this year. But the rule is - caption everything or caption nothing. Take more pictures of your guitar than you need. Take full shots and detail shots. Be as creative as you want - keep the pics guitar oriented, but use whatever props or settings you want. I think we're ruling out nudity... That's all I can think of off the top of my head. I'll try to post a few example pics later. Thanks! Steve

I know this because the deadline is usually my reminder that I was going to take some picture while the weather was still good. So far, none of my pictures have made the calendar. Not because I'm a poor photographer, which I am, but because I've never sent any pictures in. This year will be different. Third time's the charm, right?

As far as deadline, it would be great to get this wrapped up early this year, it would be nice for Brad to be able to send them out in November so everyone has one in plenty of time for the new year. If we could get pictures submitted by the end of July, that would give plenty of time for production, as well as time go back and ask for more pictures if there aren't enough. Mark, if you don't take 'em we can't use 'em! You have some great guitars, let's see some pics!
