For the newbie's aboard, every once in a while it's fun to hear what everyone's currently listening to - new, old, rock, classical, country, popular or not, doesn't matter at all but sometimes it's good to be reminded of that beloved cd (or album) that somehow fell to the bottom of the pile or to hear new material. So, whatcha got in the current rotation?

Me? Big Head Todd, Cravin' Melon, Sister Hazel, Edwin McCain and Gin Blossoms.

You...?

The same 54 CDs I've had in the office juke box for the past three years, a mix of everything, although two weeks ago I added three Celtic Airs disks.

I've been listening to alot of Yes lately - especially "Close to the Edge" and "Tales From Topographic Oceans". I find them very relaxing to listen to while I'm working or traveling.

I'm also working my way through the Ash Grove recordings on Wolfgang's Vault. The Lightnin' Hopkins show is great!

"The Killers" when I'm in the car with the kids.

I have around 450 songs I loaded from my mix cds. Primarily classic rock from the 60's and 70's.

Right now, it's the Wood Brothers . If you like Grayson Capps and the Black Keys, check them out.

Last night I was listening to Buddy and Julie Miller's new album "Written in Chalk". I'm not as impressed with it as some of their other music.

And I know I'm a tad late jumping on, but Death Cab For Cutie is pretty cool too.

well, I guess I've been mixing it up lately.

CDs - Rusted Root. My co-worker gave me one of their CDs to listen to, but I'm having a hard time getting past the fact that I don't seem to like their lead singer's voice.

I've been switching between The Lovin'Spoonful's greatest hits CD and Chris Rice's Live CD. Another CD I like is Martin Simpson's "Prodigal Son".

Cassette (yes, I'm one of the few who actually has a portable cassette player) -- I've been listening to the PraiseWalk with Kim Alexis tape. Love the music on this one, but don't know who the artists are as they are not listed.

DVDs -- I've been switching between the "Have You Seen Jim Croce Live" DVD and the "Do You Believe in Magic" by the Lovin Spoonful DVD.

YouTube -- Been switching between Jackson Browne, Johnny Rivers, Josh White Sr, John Hammond Jr. and "Doesn't Somebody Want to Be Wanted" by the Partridge Family (yes, sometimes I do like cheesy pop stuff).

I used to watch podline6's covers until his channel was shut down. His original stuff is good, though, and is still available on YouTube.

I've been digging into a wide variety of latin/percussion/African/"world music" type stuff.

Its my new thing. I'm liking it a lot.

I got an ipod so I don't have to take all the cds on the road and have 1300 tunes in it so far. It plays randomly in the car. Runs from Alecia Nugent, Alain Caron, Allmans, Balsam Range, Butterfield, Larry Carlton, Del Amitri, Fablous Rhinestones, John Jorgenson, John Hyatt, Jeff Golub, Kal David, Keb Mo, Sanborn, Sonny Landreth, Susan Tedechi, Tony Furtado, and a bunch of others.

Joe Cefalu--a local guitar player, but not really my cup of tea, so I put Croce back in.

I mostly stick with the older stuff (60s/70s/80s), and don't recognize most of the newer names mentioned in this thread.

The only new artist I've given any listening time to recently is Jason Mraz, because I saw him on SNL and thought he was pretty good.

Most of the new artists just bore me.
