If not, come on back... Hey, I'm more guilty than Alison in that I didn't even provide a 'direction'. I'll just say that I exercised my 'grumpy ol' fart option'... And with no reason, in that I did receive my new Food Saver V3825 vacuum machine this PM.

I became a member last year at this time and I haven't been online until now. in essence. "I lost my way." Thanks!

Joined: April 2008 Posts: 2336 Location: Brighty in Blighty | Depends on the guitar, never had a 2778 but I would stick on my standard set D'Addario EJ26, then depending on the tonal characteristics and feel would try a heavier set like the EJ16 or even a lighter set, perhaps use a combo set like the EJ26 for the bottom 4 and use a slightly heavier gauge on the B and E. I also use Elixir nanowebs on brighter sounding guitars, like the 07C. Haven't really found the right string for the 06C yet but I think the bronze strings aren't quite right. The 1680 I have D'Addario EJ15s. Experiment! And use your ears.
