I personally liked the 1885 the best for comfort, and the rebuilt shiny bowl 1115 for pure OOOMPH...rumble and jangle. the 1758's have a more unique piano like tone and are very attractive guitars as well the two I've owned were both bursts. if it has 12 strings on it, and says Ovation/Adamas AND made in USA on it.... you won't be disappointed. I don't believe anyone builds a better sounding, reliable or durable 12 than the guys up in CT. Glenn

BUT...I prefer a deep bowl, non-cutaway because I play unamplified alot.

Look what happened to your 1719 30CM. It now has a home where it's appreciated. You need to skip the middleman with the 1758. And remember, Jim is a drummer.Originally posted by kotadawg: Ok Jack, the list if I decide to sell: Originally posted by BT717: 1115-1 Pacemaker? :p Trader Jim, Kotadawg, you want to answer this for me? ;) :D #1 T.J. #2 Some Guy/Gal I haven't been contacted by yet. #3 Me. Besides, just think, he sells what he buys without charging for a 'TJ set up' fee and new strings... And remember, Jim is a drummer.

Same action and feel as my Deacon 12. I prefer the natural neck, and the mid-bowl makes it very easy to hold and play. And I like bling, including an inlaid abalone rosette.
