Location: Alagoas, Brazil | Ok. I got an air ticket to Miami and an American Visa. I will attend a wedding in Ohio on July, 11th, and I intend to rent a car to travel there and back following this route:
Miguel´s Route in America
I really would appreciate some coments and suggestions. I have two weeks on the United States, and intend to see a bit more than Disneyworld.

You really should spend a day there.

That's fantastic news!
On your return from Ohio, if you take I75 down Florida's west side, be sure to let me know. I know of four OFC members on that path. It would be great to have a quick 'gathering' in your honor!
I'm sure you'll get other 'invites' in that your northward leg takes you through some serious 'Ovation' country.

Location: south east Michigan | The Chevy Corvette plant is right off the freeway in Bowling Green. They offer an interesting factory tour.

For me, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame was a bit of a dissapointment.
Definatly drive back by a different route.
I don't think the Martin factory is out of the way on the way back. They have a great tour also.
Cedar Point Amusement Park, maybe an hour east of Cleveland, is one of the best, if not THE best place in the world for roller coasters.
The surrounding area is a world class tourist trap but Smokey Mountain National Park is also worth looking into. |

Location: Wichita, KS | Slipkid already mentioned Cedar Point . I've never been there myself, but always wanted to go. It is actually an hour WEST of Cleveland, in Sandusky, Ohio.
My youngest and I spent a couple hours in the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum last summer. Recommended if you like that kind of racing.
There's the Kennedy Space Center as you travel down the Florida coast.
Since your revised route takes you through Washington, DC there are some incredible things to see there. Besides the monuments & memorials on the mall, there are some exceptional museums. My favorites are the National Air and Space Museums on the mall and at the Udvar-Hazy Center. The National Museum of Natural History should be great. I think that admission to all of the National museums is free. |

But, I´ll be on vacations, so I feel the need to elaborate. I took off Nashville in order to get some time in Gainesville, Fl. I also intend to stay in NY a couple of days and see some show on Broadway and some jazz elsewhere.

Johnny - he'll be here Tues the 7th, but it might work out better for a get-together on his return. He'll be coming back down the East Coast to be in FL on the weekend of the 18th, so if folks wanted to come here for a gathering that would be great. |
