Hello,

First, let me apologize for not being very present on the OFC since few month.
I finally found my new house and it takes me a lot of time because I must sell my apartment at the same time...
I would be less busy in 3 or 4 months when I moved.

So, I'm glad to share with you some pics of a very special Adamas U681-T (another Lost Art Vintage Custom guitar!!! ;) ) .
This one is now in France and belongs to my friend Joël.
Joël asked for black ebony epaulets and they have been painted 2 days ago by a French artist under Joël's specifications.

Whether you love it or not, I think nobody will remain indifferent in front of this guitar!!

Amicalement

J :)

Now THAT is a dramatic guitar. I'm going to have to look at it some more to decide if I like it or not. But it is dramatic......

Nice piece of art, the colours tone perfectly together and the design hooks up.

Wow... I like it.

Tell us please about the color of the top.

With all the differences I don't see why this carries the U681T model number.

Joel special ordered this guitar, right??

Absolutely beautiful! Looks like he added a hint of color to the bridge to complement the epis. And the truss rod cover is very nice, too.

I saw this at the Mothership prior to it being shipped, and at that point it had the unpainted Epis. I didn't like it then - too Harley-esque / Holloweenie. The orange looked much harsher under the indoor lights as well.

Outdoors it looks great, and the painted Epis break up the black and look really cool. Is there some highlighting on the bridge as well, or is that reflection?

Diversity is a VERY cool thing, and this guitar waves that flag high. Bravo!

I love customs, and this one is unique and beautiful. Is there a story behind selection of the details? Thanks for sharing!

it took some doing to get that one finished but finally it happened. I was skeptical of the orange but when completed I really liked it.
it looks much better under natural light than artificial IMHO

good luck Joel

and great to hear from Jerome

The sleepy "I had a stroke" look of the treble epaulets, was one that Marcel Dadi had built into several of his guitars. You either like it or don't. I doubt if there's any middle ground.....
