Inquiring minds want to know Each one is special...the Pacemaker is the model that I used on the road for 12 years...just a solid hang in there road warrior... The Elite 12's is the 12 I have played since 1988...I took a white one to Russia in 1994...I can still see the faces of the guards in customs...they asked me to play it for them and I did...awesome guitars... The Adamas 12 is simply incredible...what a sound...my old -5 is currently in Switzerland and several of my former 1685 12's are enjoying good homes including a -5 at Beggin Jim's... The Balladeer 12 has been "rode hard and put away wet"...but it sounds great and oozes mojo...one of the first... The CL 12 is just drop dead gorgous...and it's near mint...sounds as good as it looks... I like them all...hard to choose a favorite...

I think it would have to be the Adamas I Paulie...being an owner yourself, you know why...they are simply unlike any other 12 string ever made...as good as it gets in my opinion... Since I have never played a U681-12 like Dave has, that is what I have to go on...that said, there is a lot to be said for the other 12 fret 12's like the 1615 and the 1158...but for me, the Adamas floats my boat... I am so glad I can have more than one...there are so many variables...
