So what did you think of that professional clear coat finish? :D

And out of curiosity - why did you remove the tuners from the white headstock? Just for cleaning, or do you have better tuners to use?

Edit to add: Never mind - I see now that they were black, and the chrome would look better.

The professional clearcoat was sprayed over the scrathes that should have been sanded out

I removed the tuners and gave the neck a coat of the same finish on the body so they'll match. I will also reapply the logo and put the black tuners back on, plus one from the bin.

Except for the refinish it should be a Stock early Breadwinner, serial number E00750.

So will you eventually refinish that body, add the neck that you had, and make something beautiful out of it?

I removed the tuners and gave the neck a coat of the same finish on the body so they'll match. I will also reapply the logo and put the black tuners back on, plus one from the bin.
Did your white body not have the original spackle finish, or had they just faded to different shades?

Except for the refinish it should be a Stock early Breadwinner, serial number E00750.
Sweet. I'm just glad another Breadwinner has been saved for posterity. :)

Saved and ready for another 35 years of life!

I had to spray a finish coat over the body and then the neck so that they were uniform in color. My White Body had a few dings that I filled.

The Wood body will be sanded/scraped down and brought back to life but without the original electronics. I have a Midi Boost kit and maybe a set of Single Coils.

The Seymour Duncan Five/Two's with the 4 way switch were pretty snappy!

A reflection from the focus I reckon!

That's what I need, one of those output jack mount plates.

Nice job Woody.

I'll testify to that. The set in the Telemonster you did are pretty sweet. I'm having too much fun with it (when I'm actually awake and able to play at all that is).

Yes, and we had discussed the cost of shipping to Australia earlier...

I hope this goes well

Uh... For that price wouldn't it have just been quicker to hit the BIN button?

Everybody is always trying to weasel a bargain.

[I gotta get me one of them things one of these days.]
