No chance to arrange any meetings. We did not decide to go to the outer banks until the morning of the 14th.

Good on ya both Brad.

32 happy years and most of them Linda is the one pointing out the pretty/topless/naked women. Apparently I don't notice that kind of architecture much.

....but then, I got it out of my system a loong time ago. Pre-You as the Jimmy Buffet song goes.

cool pic
We had a full rainbow visable from the front yard.
Too bad the camera lens was not wide enough to get the whole thing at once.

Several notes...

1) Congrats to the happy couple! 30 years is a great accomplishment these days!

(Goodness knows, I made it only to half that before the drunken, lousy, %#%$^@*& rotten, #^$%*$*%*#@, *&$%^# ex bailed on the family...but I'm not bitter, thank goodness!)

...and,

2) I definitely feeldeprived, 'cause apparently everyone in the OFC except ME has one of those confounded Mr. Big T-Shirts!!!

So...

3) How does I goes about' a-gittin' one o'dose fer me?!?!

Hatteras is about an hour from me.
Where abouts are you? I own a summer cottage in Nags Head, 220 steps from the shore!

Brad,
I look out my front windows and SEE Shenandoah National Park. I'm taking it personally that you completely avoided me.

Pam & I were celebrating our 30th.

Shenandoah National Park.
First of all, Congratulations!
Second: You were so close, I would have liked to get together, but I understand...

Way to go you two!

Jeff... I'm sorry!
But like I said, we did not chose a destination until we were almost an hour on the road.
You picked a great area to put down roots.

Mike...
Man... here I am basking in the glow of 30 years then you pull in with 43!!! That's great!!
I think we walked by the shop that did those photos. We did get sucked into taking one of those "Ghost Walk Tours". I guess your never to old to fall into a tourist trap.
I enjoyed Gatlinburg. If I knew we were goin' I would have boned up on some history. We were able to pretty much keep up with the tour guides but we had to pay close attention.

Brad,

Didn't mean to steal you thunder, 30 years is a milestone to be proud of.

You picked a beautiful area to celebrate.
