This may not mean a lot to some but to me it is the first time I have stretched to get my songs into the mainstream...I will be offering these songs on iTunes and other Venues in just few days...and I have three new songs that I am working on for my upcoming new album which I hope to have ready in the fall... So, at the urging of several good friends, I am off to see how this works out... Thank you folks for all of the support here...This is a great group... MM

My dad used to sing an play but never thought he was good enough (I guess I'm the same way, I nowhere near as good as he was but, I only sing for my Wife). He used to play in a little hole in the wall called the University Inn in Gainesville, Fl. One night in 1970, a guy came in and asked if he could record my dad singing and not knowing any better he said yes. My mom was furious with him and told him to wit and see, one of his songs was going to be recorded and end up on the radio. Shortly thereafter, they were in the car and heard his song "Hitching a Ride" as recorded by Vanity Fair. It had been changed a bit and made more up tempo but it was his nonetheless. You are to be commended on following up on this, I wish I had the courage to do it!

Here is an update: I just got a notification that two of my songs: "Ready and Willin" and "Two Old Flames" have been picked up by Country Radio and are receiving airplay... I have not been able to find out much more than that since I am on my way to my two churches for services...more later...
