Optimistic pricing in today's economy.

Probably would have been snatched up instantly at that price a year ago.

I dunno T28, I think the old 4 bolt doors in that color, that nut width, and that condition would hald their value in ANY economic climate. I swore I was done with roundbacks, but I'm having serious second thoughts over this one ...

Seller sez; "Hate to say it, but I never was a great guitarist, so it has not been played much at all."

Hey! I'm a crappy guitarist and I play all the time.

Nice old guitar, wish I had a spare coupla K.

All too true but the economy is killing a lot of folks (me included) and I think a year ago that 3K BIN would have been snapped up pretty quickly!

It's on my ebay watch list but that's probably as far as I will go.....got that darn Borges on order that will be ready in about 4 months.

Very cool guitar. There was a guy at Swannanoa that had #797, a 1687-9.

Am I seeing things or is there some mountng ring damage in the lower treble bout area? Also, the back looks like there has been tape or something stuck to it in places.

Then there are these...

What is that light blue stuff by the binding?

IMO, a whole lot of problems and less than adequate disclosure.

Something about these wide necks...

I bought this a few year back; funny story, Al and I called the seller around the same time (not knowing about it from each other); seller called me late one night and I was too tired to negotiate and just bought it for a ridiculously low price.

This has got to be the "sweetest" sounding Adamas I have (comparing with old, new and slotheads).

The additional mass of the wider neck is what makes the difference in sound.
