Joined: June 2006 Posts: 7307 Location: South of most, North of few | Finally came in after what seemed like an eternity yet was only 3 months, UMGF custom. 00 12 fret slot head, ambertone spruce top, quilted mahogany back and sides. Sounds real sweet for a new one. Hopefully I'll get to spend some time with it and let it blossom. Didn't even clean it up before the pics, so don't mind the dust. ![]() | ||

Definitely not as big a sound as a dred, but very clean and full. I remember everything I loved about my last 00 in this one and I'm sure it's only going to get better with age. I do have to say, this is probably the most beautifully crafted Martin I have owned. I can't find a single flaw. Very happy with this one! | ||

On the other hand, I keep learning more songs that I wanted to learn years ago, but never could figure out. I prefer to think I'm getting better because of all these guitars I have. Still can't improvise, but my memorizing skills are improving. | ||
