And one amp was a CA10 with a variable speed Chorus... And one amp was a CA15 with Reverb... Which sounds better, is more useful, whatever? I am not worried about wattage or speaker size cuz I ain't playing for the masses... Whatchya think... All y'all on the east coast and Europe who are already awake. [chop-chop... Let's be quick, I need an answer... Please]

As someone wrote in here concerning O guitars: buying cheap turns out more costly in the long run...

So if I really need a chorus I can dig-around in the junk drawer. They are unloading New CA15\'s for less than a hunnert bucks on evilBay... If anybody has a burning desire. And New CA10\'s for $60.

It has almost all the toys you could ever want built in... Reverb, Chorus, Flange, Tape Echo, Sweep Echo, Overdrive... AND for a tiny little amp it REALLY has great sound! I am recommending them to all my students. just my 2 cents... :-) David

Effects include Chorus, Flanger, Phaser, tremolo, delays, and reverbs...and it can run for 24hrs on batteries...aux in for a cd player or MP3...just a killer little amp...

I seem to be a Boss fan so in order of acquisition and importance: Tuner Delay with Tempo switch Blues Distortion Compressor Noise Reducer Boost Flanger

Mike and David, I've got the MicroCube and the CubeStreet. And they have all the knobbies I would ever need. But in previous discussions about MC's people have said that I really need to get a Real Acoustic Amp. I was doing a price-check to sell my Fender G-DEC (gone! that quick) when I stumbled on to the CA's at reasonable prices. Then the Gear-GAS hit! Anyway, I sold the G-DEC for more than I paid for the CA... one-in/on-out, so I still will have the same amount of stuff. Just different stuff.

Okay, I've had (and have) combo amps with a Clean or Acoustic setting. This is totally different. I just had an epiphany! Y'all have been telling me for years that I need an acoustic amp. Y'all were Right! (Don't let it go to your head) Also, unlike my other amps, when playing through this thing the sound seems to come from everywhere! As opposed to being really 'directional' like my other amps. The music fills the room. I am standing and walking around and the sound is consistent. My neighbors are gonna hate me. [I have guitar stands, I only leaned the guitar here for this one photo] Okay, now comments and questions... The cord on this thing is attached to the amp, unlike all my other amps that take one of those triangular computer-type cables... Hence the Orange work-site extension cord. I will arrange something better, eventually. When I first turn it on the is a minor hum, that turns into a hiss when I get up to "10"... Is this a defect? You cannot hear it when I am playing, and you cannot hear it when nothing is plugged-in. Or is it just my 20 foot cable with the 1/4" jacks? But this thing is Nice. It gives a really True reproduction of the guitar's sound! As well as every mistake I make!

Arthur, my lil' Crate Model 5 has a 'warm up' pop and then all is well. I've read that is not uncommon. ![]()

To heck with putting away the groceries. When I take the Trekker or CK047 out, they only have gig-bags. So I take the can. (and that money was in there... Leave it there for 'seed money') My MicroCube is in a backpack, and the CubeStreet is in that there tool-bag. I haven't take my Crate Profiler out yet.

Since I didn't pay much for it and rarely use it, it doesn't bother me. You ought to be able to test another similar amp at a music store to see whether it has hiss.

I stuffed a 99 cent cable in there and it really hummed. BTW-- Be Careful With Your Guitars! IT IS WINTER AGAIN! Besides that it is probably snowing in Mark's neck-o-the-woods... This amp was Ice Cold when I opened the box. And ski-lifts are open in Utah.

So even if the seller ain't an authorized dealer, it still works. Plus I got an Montage coming tomorrow to play with... So I'm all set until next week! :p So, I'll see what I need to buy once I sell my Epiphone Demon...
