It has a blue top, some nice carving on the bridge, and looks like it may be a slotted peg head. This shot came from a 1976 video if that helps. Beautiful guitar and also guitarist! ![]()

That's my son playing (with) #35 in the picture, I forget which number is to his left, and there's a Re-issue of #47 to his right: Here\'s a list of the original slotheads and who they went to.

Here is a picture of #6: ![]()

Sometimes collectors wish to remain anonymous. Search the forums present and past using "slothead" or "original slothead" and you will find lots of interesting discussions. These quite frankly are remarkable guitars - a reunion was held a few years ago bringing together a lot of these guitars...and their owners. Our favorite Uncle around here can share a lot about them. Can someone around here post the cover of that calendar and the owners page inside? These guitars are all unique - handmade - Cliff calls them like homemade cookies - all similar - yet subtle differences. Hang around a while - attend a few events - you'll get to play one.

For right now, I am struggling to get my playing to a level that is worthy of this 6778LX. Never in my dreams did I ever dare imagine I could ever play such a wonderful instrument, let alone OWN one!!!! Hey Damon, how long ago did I buy this? I STILL cannot put her down! I think it has been about two weeks and I have already worn out the strings and must replace them tomorrow, lol.

Bring your slothead and some of the other junk you've been collecting. Muzz, you can come too" Works for me, and I'm still working on the intro to Crazy on You and it'll never be as good as Nancy.
