Her first single is "According to You" of which I have a promo copy: it is incredible! Here is a taste of her talent on "Now or Never" "Now or Never" Carlos Santana summed it up best with this quote: It's not cure anymore; it's seriously ass whupping 24 years old....incredible!

And you can see my hometown in the background of the beach scene. As far as the music ... yawn. The video was formulaic pubescent pop. Nothing groundbreaking or even interesting about it. The guitar work? Fine, but I heard that sound and all those licks a thousand times over in the 70's and 80's. Time to get over it. I'll take Susan Tedeschi any day of the week. Just my opinion.

When I saw Orianthi perform with Santana, I thought she was his daughter. Maybe she's his love child ... Susan Tedeschi is great. I have a lot of her stuff. I love the way she sings "Lost Lover Blue's" & "Hurts So Bad" ;) Willa

I listened to the links in this thread last night and thought; well she can play a lot of notes but can she play one note. Nice looking girl and really slick player but the music is totally empty IMO. Maybe she'll get better if and when she has something to write about or if she hooks up with someone who has something to write about.

Y'know White Folks don't have the Soul for the Blues. (And she is awfully White!) Even Carlos sez that she needs some time to develop her own Style.

Never heard of her before or since. I don't know if she's a guitar goddess, but I wouldn't kick her out of my band either.
