The problem is, I don't want to sell anything and am having real issues deciding which to sell. So here's my question, how would you decide to let one of yours go. And before you answer, none of mine really get played more than the others as I like all of'em. I'm thinking of using the "easiest to eventually replace rule", but they are all pretty tough to find, especially in the condition mine are in. So I'm just feeling around for some tentative input. And just for fair warning, I'll probably ask a fair price (Read that "Not an eBay price."), as the ones in contention are all more collectible than the average bear. ;) Any thoughts? :)

Why is it that we put this much angst into guitars anyway? :cool:phucket keep them all

I've never regretted selling a guitar and I'm even seriously considering selling my Parkey Fly Bronze Fly and even the FUD (once it comes back from the Mothership) if it doesn't offer anything that my current herd doesn't offer. I don't like similar guitars if you know what I mean. Hope that helps.

The 87C and Book Elite are essentially the same guitar so decide which one you like the best and let the other one go...... or like Dave said get the new one and see which of the older ones falls into disfavor.

I am in de-acquisition mode right now and have decided to keep the "best" guitar I have, though it is not an easy choice at all. I have gone back and forth many times on which one to keep and which ones to let go. First, do you consider any of them somewhat redundant in function or collectible reasoning? Second, the used market really sucks for sellers right now. So you might want to sell the one that is the lesser financial loss, which means it will be easier to re-acquire later on. Third, is there something on the wish list similar to one you have now, so you could sell that one and then someday in the future get the wish list guitar. Finally, is there one that has the most profit in it right now?
