Thank you so much for parting with the '76 Red Custom Balladeer. It's everything you said and more. It was such a pleasure dealing with you.

I only wish that all my transactions could go as easy as this. You're honest and open, with a lot of integrity. You made the whole experience painless. Of course the pay off was getting more than I expected with a guitar that I just can't put down.

Congrats Gary, all the best with this beauty!
I know Willa is a fine person to discuss and deal with.
Hope to have some news from her soon :)

I am so bad with this picture thing, but if any of you are familiar with this guitar, and have photos, I'd ask you to please post some of the pictures. It's really stunning.

My first and sentimental favorite is my '77 red Custom Balladeer 1612-2. What is really cool about the finish is that it is more like a bright, even red stain as opposed to red paint. Up close you can still see the nice spruce grain pattern.

You're absolutely right! My wife commented on what a beautiful red it is. She asked me how they did it, and I didn't know.

She got it from her mother.

I dated one, but dumped her when I found out that the drapes didn't match the carpet.

Here she is guys. Gary, you are very welcome. She really is a beauty, and I'm very happy she's gone to someone who appreciates her so much! This photo doesn't really do her justice, but it's better than nothing!

Thanks for the photo, Willa, and thanks again for the beautiful guitar. I see some drunken weasils invaded my post. C'est la vi! (Did I get it right that time?)

Nice. Personal attacks. I'm so sorry I posted onto your personal private guitar forum. It won't happen again.
