I would like to invite the members here at the OFC to check out AvatarMusicCanada's AMC-RADIO.

This an internet radio station I am affiliated with (I host the 'Infinite Waves' show...).

(please see at www.avatarmusiccanada.eu > RADIO / or click on the SCHEDULE button to see detailed info...)

Broadcasting on the Destiny Radio, ShoutCast & Nexus networks, we have been on the air for coming up on three years now and feature music from established, as well as new artists!!

It is strictly NON-PROFIT with no commercials, playing some of the best music in the world of prog, prog-metal, fusion, folk as well as classic rock and pop.

We feature presenters from Canada (myself), as well as from the UK and The Netherlands.

If any of you here at the OFC have DJ experience and would like to try your hand... By all means, drop me a line!! We'd LOVE to hear from you!!

Do you take requests or submissions of material? Even from Americans? :)

Requests and submissions, not a problem (even from Americans, lol).

Just drop our program director Malcolm Rutherford (in the UK) an email at radioorion@live.com. I'm sure he'd be really happy to hear from you!!

My Pacer only had AM. I later installed an under dash cassette hanging over the center hump.

I had an 8 track but that was in my first car 1966 VW. I upgraded to the AMC Pacer once I saw the ads with the 6 foot sub in the back seat. Took the opportunity to also upgrade to the hanging cassette player.

When I first read that statement, I thought "Pacer" was an abbreviation for Pacemaker, and wondered why I don't have AM on mine… ?! ;) !?

You don't find "tranny humps" relevant?

You've been here long enough to know how it is.

Our minds wonder easily......

My first car, a Javelin, only had AM until I put an in dash new fangled auto reverse cassette deck in it. I made it "in dash" by cutting a hole in the dash and jamming it in there. Every time I hit a bump the cassette would reverse.

The radio is blocked in my workplace, which is where I usually listen to music.

Will try home eventually.

Thanks for the link,

Miguel
