Location: South of most, North of few | From Music Mike, and he got his voice back! For those who don't know, since his neck operation, his voice has been somewhat compromised. I am happy to say he sounds normal again. Hopefully he'll be back to singing soon. Glad to hear you again Mike! |

If I lost my voice, I'd want it to come back as Barry White I just got off of the phone w/Iffy and he told me he saw it here...TJ, you are quick...
LOL...well Barry White I'm not...but what a voice he had...also wrong color but anyway...
What's it like? For someone who never has a difficult time putting words together I am truly at a loss this time...This procedure was supposed to help my breathing (which has been very difficult) and to stop me from choking and aspirating liquid (which so far it has) but the voice return was unexpected...I have not yet tried to sing...I'm going to give it a couple of days...I want to let this heal...but to sum it up in a word: Fantastic!!! I can speak to my kids and wife again...I've missed that the most. I went to bed last night after the surgery not being able to speak much because of the sore throat (worst in my life) but I woke up this morning and I had my voice...just incredible...
There is a book called "Out of the Silence" by Duane Miller who like me is a Pastor...he experienced the same thing in 1981 and it lasted for three years. If you can get a copy read it...pretty much sums up what I have gone through/am going through and who I am grateful to and for...my Doctors are the best.
