To permit my big fingers to chord without being all cramped up, AND solo. * A deep-contour or deep-bowl works equally well. * Yep. GREAT sound, ie: deep, but bright as well, and well-balanced; resonant, full-bodied, consistent up and down the neck. (My goodness, sounds also like what I'm looking for in a good woman!) Additional accoutrements: ---------------------------------------- * Heavy pick -- V-Picks are GREAT! Used to use Dunlop 1.14's, but the V-Pick glides over the strings! No, I don't work for V-Pick. * Medium-Light gauge strings for fast runs. Conclusion: OFC II wideneck. A 1681 wideneck (if there ever existed such a thing) would be in close second. I have an OFC II regular neck, and have tried to talk Dave (Gallerinski) out of his wideneck, but no luck (not that I blame him, darn it!). Anyone want to work a trade of some kind?

Tastes, desires and finances change as well. So todays dream may look nothing like yesterdays dream and will soon be replaced by tomorrows dream. My REAL "dream" would be to aquire enough free time in my life to sit back, smell the coffee, enjoy the things I've got and be thankful for all the other "things" that really matter in life (none of which are guitars).

Been searching for one for a good while, even asked the factory if they could special build a wide neck for the Hurricane I have - BUT THEY CAN'T! Yeah, it was hard for me to believe too that there was an Ovation modification that John and Kim couldn't do! But there you have it.

With that said ... I believe that's why they invented the acoustic multi-effects board. Here's the one I currently like to use: Zoom A2.1U ... Anyone know of any better ones than this?

Click here for detailed Genesis NT #1 photos. The "blade" switch is actually a 5-position varitone. The only other mod is possible a fishman strat style powerbridge, but I'm not sold on that idea yet.
