I read somewhere here that this guitar is rare as only a limited number produced....

Is that Colorado? If so, it might be a couple hour drive for one of our members to check out. The same store has an 88 and 97 Collector's, but the 97 seems overpriced compared to the FD14.
The first time I looked, a picture wouldn't come up, but the third time I checked, it was there.

I wondered why they'd have a Guitar Center in a little ski resort town up in the mountains. Big difference between Winter Park, Colorado and Winter Park, Florida. Anybody in Florida going to check it out?

Check it out my ass...just buy it.
They rate it 4 outta 5.

A trip to the mothership would right any wrongs and you will still come out with a deal!

The "it" was critical in that sentence. I missed it the first time and was grossed out.

As long as it's a "rating" and not a "capacity" . . .

I just got (gotta :D ) call from GC. The guitar had been on hold for 24 hrs with first right of refusal. I guess after I called, they called back the holding party and he passed on it.

So.... it is on it's way to TN. The GC Dude said it was as new, "looked as if it had never been played".

(end of gloat)

That was me. First right of refusal wasn't mentioned to me. Not once. I was told it would be placed on hold. I specifically asked if it could be sold before then and offered to leave 1/2 as a deposit. They said not to worry about it. It was supposed to be held for 2 weeks (payday or until I could sell my CA). If he said 24 hours, he lied through his teeth. Not your doing of course. You had the cash now, I didn't.
